Typical base salary in the US:

  • Actuarial analyst: $101k median, typically $91k to $118k
  • Associate or assistant actuary: $127k median, typically $113k to $144k
  • Actuary or actuarial manager: $160k median, typically $134k to $180k
  • AVP or director: $186k median, typically $176k to $203k
  • VP or senior director: $208k median, typically $190k to $259k

In Canada, valuation & reporting roles at actuary or manager level pay a median of C$140k, and in Bermuda about $166k.
